Maria Hancock

Mrs. Hancock has more than two decades of experience in technology, risk management and asset management. Mrs. Hancock spent her more recent professional years as an angel investor, advisor, and mentor in areas of Fintech and InsureTech. Prior to this, Mrs. Hancock was the head of Retirement Solutions Americas at Deutsche Bank, where she led the development of innovative retail investment products leveraging technology and quantitative methodologies. Before this she held positions at AIG, where she built the Enterprise Risk Management Technology area, as well as JP Morgan and Dresdner Bank. Mrs. Hancock was an early employee of a Fintech start-up – Askari Risk Management Solutions – that was acquired by State Street Bank. She holds a Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear physics from the Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
